The Battle System
In the Warriors Orochi RPG Forum, we try to uphold KOEI Warriors tradition. So we've decided on creating and using a "Battle System", driven by a member's Battle Points of BP. In the Forum, each character will be role-playing as either a member of higher command in a hierarchy or at the very least an Officer that leads troops under the command of a higher command.
Each in-character area/territory has an Invasion Value (IV) and Defense Value (DV). It requires faction leaders to have enough troops purchased using battle points in order to invade a territory or defend a territory ruled by your faction. For example, if a territory requires 3000 IV in order to invade, the faction leader and/or his/her faction needs to have that many accumulated points. If a territory you control needs 2100 DV in order to defend it, but you and your faction don't have that much then you'd have no choice but to surrender to the invader with enough IV.
Every member will earn their own Battle Points (BP), and will thus have their own amount of troops if they choose to put their BP towards raising their own army. However, members cannot individually declare war on other territories. This is the faction leader's decision.
Rules
1. Only the Monarch/Daimyo of a Kingdom/Clan, 3/5 High Commanders in the Demon Army and Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto can declare war, and start a campaign to conquer a territory. By default the Demon Army is at war with the Human factions. Also by default is the neutral Mystic Army.
2. You cannot make up Unit Types. You are only able to purchase the units available to you under the Points Exchange.
3. The faction leader cannot choose to take another member's troops without their consent. This makes it more challenging to properly raise an army.
